Nuzi tablets

The Free Library has at least two clay tablets excavated from Nuzi, an area that was settled by the Hurrians (or Khurrites) in the last quarter of the third millennium B.C.E. Nuzi was located in northeastern Mesopotamia.  Almost all information known about the Hurrians’ culture and language has been gathered from the Nuzi excavation site, predominantly in the 20th century.
